Whither salvation?

The country (Bangladesh) is going crazy for election -- a 'free, fair and credible' election. What are we expecting from it? Again a bunch of goons & thugs; corrupt & pernicious termites eating into the vitality of the nation? How is it comprehensible that people - some on bail & some absconding - with loads of cases on charge of corruption, misappropriation & pilferage are shaking hands with those entrusted by people with the responsibility of making the country clean? And us, common people? How forgetful and callous we are! We lick the hand that poisoned our life only a few months ago! We swoop down to those legs that spurned us only a couple of years ago! Alas! Alas!! Alas!!!

You see, I'm very lonely at heart. The finer chord of my mind strings with melancholy and burst into dumb cry as there's none to share that my tendermost feeling and emotion. Is there anyone who could walk with me for some distance? Can share a bit of that abstract but crumbling burden?
